Abraham Hanson Law is committed to making this website usable by people of all abilities and to meeting the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

Our commitment
Access to legal counsel should not depend on how you use the web. We design and maintain abrahamhansonlaw.com so that clients using screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnification, or reduced-motion settings can find information, evaluate the firm, and request a consultation without barriers.
Conformance target
This site aims for substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly applied under Title III of the ADA. We continuously review and improve the experience.
What we have built in
- Semantic structure: proper landmarks, headings, lists, and labels so assistive technology can announce the page accurately.
- Keyboard support: every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Color contrast: body text and interactive elements meet at least the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required at Level AA.
- Tap targets: buttons and links use a 44×44 px minimum target for comfortable touch and reduced-precision use.
- Reduced motion: animations and scroll effects are minimized when your operating system requests reduced motion.
- Descriptive alt text: meaningful images include alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form accessibility: every form input has a visible label, programmatic association, and clear error messaging.
- Language attribute: pages declare their language so screen readers select the correct pronunciation engine, including Spanish-language pages.
Tested with
Current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, paired with VoiceOver, NVDA, and TalkBack. Automated audits use Lighthouse and axe DevTools; manual checks cover keyboard navigation, screen-reader flow, and zoom up to 200%.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Where we embed materials from third parties (court forms, government PDFs), we cannot always guarantee accessibility. If you encounter such content, please tell us. We will provide the information in an alternative accessible format on request.
Report an issue or request a fix
If something on this site is hard to use, blocks you from reaching us, or could be improved, we want to hear about it. Use whichever channel is most convenient. We treat accessibility feedback as a priority.
For help with content, scheduling, or arranging an alternative format such as large print or a phone walkthrough.

When you write to us, please describe the page, the assistive technology you were using (if any), and what you were trying to do. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days.
